The water was definitely chilly!
It was a windy day- so many people were out flying kites. I especially liked this one!!
Even with the cold water, there were plenty of swimmers and surfers out enjoying the day!

Santa Monica, California
I spent this last weekend in California! It was fun to visit my family! We spent Saturday at the beach in Santa Monica. We rollerbladed up and down the boardwalk. We watched the people fly kites, and build sand castles. At the end of the Santa Monica pier, there's an amusement park with rides. We got cheese pizza for lunch on the boardwalk. It was a great day!
